Join the campaign to make Ireland a better place for pregnant people
Everyone has a right to access healthcare, in safety, dignity and privacy.
But around Ireland, pregnant people and their loved ones are facing stigmatisation, shaming and even intimidation as they try to access reproductive healthcare. Pickets affect everyone who enters hospitals, GPs, and healthcare facilities offering reproductive healthcare, including abortion. These pickets mean other clinics are not signing up to provide abortion services. This is limiting access to healthcare including abortion across the island. It is not what we voted for in 2018.
Creating safe access zones around hospitals, GPs, and healthcare facilities which offer abortion services would protect people who need an abortion, as well as all pregnant people in Ireland. Call on your TD to introduce safe access zones and make Ireland a better country for pregnant people.
